Such a cool way to raise money for ACS.

Doug & I visited my bro when he lived in ND and we drove back through South Dakota and went through the Badlands, saw Mt. Rushmore. Beautiful drive. When I went to Montana with Kulaga's leadership expedition, we got to see a bit of Yellowstone - I've always wanted to see more of it! How fun!!!

Re: 13.1 & the circus

You can always volunteer to hand them out, then steal one for yourself! :) And I don't know Sara - she's well past the "basic" classes from the looks of it. And don't wait for Aaaron!

Here is my advice:1. Run because you like it.
People always tell me "I wish I liked running" or just think I'm crazy, but running doesn't have to make you feel terrible or hurt or be anything but great. Take it slow, listen to your body & don't focus on speed/calories/etc. Each footstep is a meditation.

2. Sign up for a race.
I'm a million times more motivated if I have something to keep me accountable. Pick a 5k 2 months from now & run a few times a week. Check out the Couch to 5k program for ideas on how to get started: http://www.c25k.com/. I use Hal Higdon's schedules for my training - he has all distances & 3 levels of training for each: http://halhigdon.com/.

3. Move here & be my running partner.
Someday. :)

Re: Summer goals & Failure

Just so you know, based on your habit [& other friends that keep the same habit] of running, Aaron's going to teach me how to run when he gets home. So your one of your goals has inspired someone else to create their own goal. Let's just hope it's the "therapy" I've been needing/looking for!

Re: SAA11 Notes & Reflections

Yesssss!
